ANNFSU panel won majority seats in todays FSU elction leaving a single member seat to NSU. Sarika Kumari Mishra, the only female candidate from NSU will join the 11-member FSU led by elected president Prakash Sapkota (063/BArch). He will be assisted by elected vice president Shyam Sundar Shah, and elected Secretary Pratik Sharma, elected joint-secretary Kabita Gyawali and elected Treasurer Salbir Limbu.

Bishnu Devkota, Alok Samrat Kafle, Manoj Kumar Singh, Deepak Shrestha and Jitendra Singh will join the team as elected members.

From FSU Election 2065

Voting started at 10am today. A huge participation of eligible voter students was seen. To avoid probable clashes and disputes among student unions, more than 100 security personnels including armed police force were present. Two separate queue lines were arranged for male and female voters. Students union volunteers helped maintain queues. NSU volunteers were seen demonstrating trial electronic voting outside the college permises. Volunteers were equally busy persuading students to vote for their union.

As Pulchowk Campus used electronic voting system, the voting procedure was easy and quick. Inside the voting hall, 8 voting terminals/stations were allocated. A student entering the voting hall after being identified by voter's id card was presented with station slip. The voter would have to go to the station they were assigned and cast their vote. After voting., the station station id was to be handed over to the officer at the exit. The officer would then check against the validity of the vote casted. The voter should then exit the voting hall.

Inside the voting hall, representatives from different student unions and candidates were present to observe the voting process. UN monitors also paid a visit to observe the voting process. FSU election at Pulchowk Campus was also covered by major electronic and print medias.
